| 1 | 3 | Black | 1.488 ~ 1.491 mm |
NOTE: Always check the actual markings on both the connecting rod and the crankshaft.
NOTE: The connecting rod big end bore mark is usually stamped on the connecting rod body.
NOTE: The connecting rod journal mark is usually stamped on the crankshaft.
Connecting Rod Bearing Specifications (New Part)
| Connecting Rod Bearing (New Part) | |
|---|---|
| Color Mark | Central Wall Thickness [T] |
| Red | 1.494 ~ 1.497 mm (0.05882 ~ 0.05894 in) |
| Green | 1.491 ~ 1.494 mm (0.05870 ~ 0.05882 in) |
| Black | 1.488 ~ 1.491 mm (0.05858 ~ 0.05870 in) |
Usage Guide:
- Identify the connecting rod big end bore mark (stamped on the connecting rod body)
- Identify the connecting rod journal mark (stamped on the crankshaft)
- Based on the combination of the two marks, select the corresponding bearing color from the table above
- Refer to the specification table to confirm the wall thickness range of the selected bearing
- Always verify with actual measurements before installation
Important: This tool is for reference only. Always perform actual measurements and follow the manufacturer's service manual during installation.
📍 Marks Location Reference (Click image to enlarge)
Identify the exact marking positions on connecting rod and crankshaft. The diagrams below show typical locations for connecting rod big end bore marks and connecting rod journal marks.
Connecting Rod Big End Bore Mark
Stamped on the connecting rod body (typically numbers 1, 2, 3). Indicates the bore size class for bearing selection.
Crankshaft Connecting Rod Journal Marks
Stamped on the crankshaft (numbers 1, 2, 3). Each journal has a mark indicating its size classification.
🔎 Verification tips: Marks are often stamped or laser-etched. Clean the surface for clear reading. Use magnifying glass if needed.

⚖️ Connecting Rod Weight (New Part)
Connecting rod weight mark is stamped on the connecting rod body. Select rods with the same weight group mark for the same crankshaft.
| Mark | Weight Range (g) |
|---|---|
| A | 386 ≤ G < 388 |
| B | 388 ≤ G < 390 |
| C | 390 ≤ G < 392 |
| D | 392 ≤ G < 394 |
| E | 394 ≤ G < 396 |
| H | 396 ≤ G < 398 |
| J | 398 ≤ G < 400 |
| K | 400 ≤ G < 402 |
| L | 402 ≤ G < 404 |
| M | 404 ≤ G < 406 |
⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTE: The same crankshaft must be fitted with connecting rods having the same weight group mark!
📌 Usage instruction: The connecting rod weight group mark is typically stamped on the big end side or the rod body. When replacing connecting rods, ensure all rods on the same engine have identical weight group marks to maintain engine balance.
💡 Weight unit: All weight values are in grams (g) for new parts.
