FUEL TANK

The Fuel pump assy includes fuel pump, plastic support, preliminary filter, fine filter and pressure regulator. It supplies fuel for engine under a certain pressure and flow.

Parameters:

• ● This fuel pump is located in fuel tank.
• ● Do not operate the fuel pump in dry condition in order to prevent damage.
• ● Always handle the fuel pump gently.

Fuel Pump Wiring

Fuel Pressure Test:

1. Connect the fuel pressure gauge with fuel outlet and tighten the joint with a clamp to prevent fuel leaks.
2. Route accords to the right circuit.
3. Turn both ignition switch engine stop switch on;
4. At this moment, fuel pump will operate for 5 seconds. After the fuel pump stops running, fuel pressure should be in specification, otherwise, replace it.
