📖 Installation Guide

Follow these steps to replace the oil strainer kit:

Preparation: Ensure the engine is turned off and cooled to room temperature. Prepare a drain pan, appropriate wrenches, and clean rags.
Drain the Oil: Place the vehicle on level ground. Remove the drain plug and drain the old oil into the pan.
Remove the Old Strainer: Locate the oil strainer cap on the engine (usually on the side or bottom). Use the appropriate tool to remove the strainer cap.
Remove Old Components: Carefully remove the old strainer screen, spring, and seal ring. Clean the strainer cap and mounting area internally, removing any debris and old seal residue.
Install New Components: Place the new spring into the mounting base, then install the new strainer screen. Install the new O-ring (30x3.55mm) into the strainer cap's sealing groove, ensuring it is not twisted.
Install the Strainer Cap: Align the strainer cap with the mounting base and thread it in, ensuring proper thread alignment. Tighten to the appropriate torque (approx. 20-25 N·m, refer to your vehicle's service manual).
Refill with Fresh Oil: Tighten the drain plug and refill with the recommended amount of fresh engine oil.
Check for Leaks: Start the engine and let it idle for 1-2 minutes. Inspect around the strainer cap for any leaks. Turn off the engine and check the oil level.
Note: If you are not experienced with mechanical repairs, we recommend having this installed by a professional technician. Always clean the mounting surface before installation and ensure the seal ring is properly seated.
