This oil filter (0700-070200) fits the following CF Moto engine models:

🔧 Preparation

• Ensure the engine is turned off and cooled to room temperature (to avoid burns).
• Prepare tools: oil filter wrench (or strap wrench), drain pan, funnel, new engine oil, and clean rags.
• Place the motorcycle on level ground and use the center stand to support the vehicle.
• Wear protective gloves to avoid contact with hot oil and chemicals.

🔄 Step 1: Drain the Old Oil

• Locate the oil drain plug at the bottom of the engine and place the drain pan underneath.
• Using the appropriate wrench, remove the drain plug and allow the old oil to fully drain into the pan.
• After the oil has stopped dripping, clean the drain plug and sealing washer, then reinstall and tighten to the specified torque.

🧽 Step 2: Remove the Old Oil Filter

• Using an oil filter wrench, turn the old filter counterclockwise to remove it.
• Carefully tilt the filter to avoid spilling residual oil, and place it into the drain pan.
• Clean the filter mounting surface to ensure no old gasket material or debris remains.

✅ Step 3: Install the New Oil Filter

• Remove the new oil filter (0700-070200) from its packaging.
• Apply a thin coat of new engine oil to the gasket of the new filter to ensure a proper seal and ease future removal.
• Position the new filter vertically against the mounting surface and turn it clockwise by hand until the gasket contacts the mounting surface.
• Then, tighten the filter an additional 3/4 turn using the filter wrench (do not overtighten to avoid damaging the gasket).

🛢️ Step 4: Add New Engine Oil

• Using a funnel, pour the recommended amount and grade of new oil into the oil fill port (refer to the owner's manual).
• Start the engine and let it idle for approximately 1–2 minutes, checking that the oil pressure warning light turns off.
• Turn off the engine and wait a few minutes for the oil to settle back into the oil pan.
• Check the oil dipstick to ensure the oil level is between the minimum and maximum marks, adding oil if necessary.
• Inspect the filter and drain plug for any signs of leakage.

💡 Maintenance Tips

• It is recommended to replace the oil and oil filter according to the maintenance schedule in the owner's manual (typically every 3,000–5,000 km or every 6 months).
• Under severe driving conditions (e.g., dusty environments, short trips, heavy loads), shorten the replacement interval.
• Always use an original-quality oil filter to ensure filtration performance and sealing integrity.
• If the oil pressure warning light illuminates or abnormal engine noises occur, immediately inspect the oil filter and lubrication system.
