💨 Common Symptoms
• Clutch slipping — engine RPM rises but speed doesn't increase
• Incomplete clutch disengagement — hard shifting or vehicle moves with clutch pulled
• Heavy or sticky clutch operation
• Clutch noise (metal grinding sound)
• Jerky engagement during start-up
• Burnt or warped pressure plate
🔍 Possible Causes
• Wear or deformation from prolonged use
• Excessive wear on clutch plates
• Weakened clutch springs
• Overheating and burning from improper operation
• Improper installation or incorrect torque
⚠️ Important Note: Clutch pressure plate failure can cause poor power transmission and, in severe cases, complete clutch failure. If you experience the symptoms above, inspect and replace the pressure plate and related components promptly.
This 6-hole clutch pressure plate assembly fits vehicles equipped with CG125 and CG150 4-stroke engines, including but not limited to:
💡 Compatibility Note: This clutch pressure plate features a 6-hole mounting specification for CG125 and CG150 engines. Before installation, verify that your original pressure plate has 6 holes to ensure compatibility. It is recommended to inspect the condition of the clutch plates, springs, and release bearing, and replace them if necessary.
- 6-Hole Mounting Specification: Features 6-hole design matching CG125 and CG150 engine clutch system standards.
- High-Quality Alloy Steel: Manufactured from premium alloy steel for high strength and excellent wear resistance.
- Precision Machining: Contact surface precision-ground for flatness and uniform contact with clutch plates.
- Heat Treatment: Precision heat treatment process improves hardness and fatigue resistance, extending service life.

- Restores Performance: Replacing worn clutch pressure plate eliminates clutch slipping and incomplete disengagement, restoring smooth shifting.
🔧 Installation Guide
1. Remove the right engine cover to access the clutch assembly.
2. Remove the 6 clutch pressure plate mounting bolts, loosening them in a diagonal pattern.
3. Remove the old pressure plate assembly, noting the installation order of springs and washers.
4. Clean the clutch hub and pressure plate mounting surface, and inspect clutch plate wear.
5. Install new clutch plates in the correct order on the clutch hub (if replacing).
6. Install the new pressure plate assembly, ensuring all 6 mounting holes align properly.
7. Install the 6 mounting bolts and tighten in a diagonal pattern in stages to specified torque (typically 8-12 N·m).
8. Adjust clutch cable free play to specification.
9. Reinstall the right engine cover, add fresh engine oil, and start the engine to test clutch function.
Important Note: Pay attention to proper alignment between the pressure plate and clutch plates. Ensure the 6 bolts are tightened evenly in a diagonal pattern. Professional installation is strongly recommended.
Spec Confirmation: Before purchasing, verify your engine model and pressure plate mounting hole count (6 holes) to ensure compatibility. Pressure plates with different hole counts are not interchangeable.
Installation Note: Clutch cable free play must be adjusted after installation. Ensure the 6 bolts are tightened evenly in a diagonal pattern. Professional installation is strongly recommended.
Recommended Parts: When replacing the clutch pressure plate, it is recommended to also replace the clutch plates, clutch springs, and release bearing to ensure optimal clutch system performance. Product images are for reference only; actual product may vary.
