1. Ensure the engine is cool and disconnect the negative battery terminal before starting.
2. Remove the CVT cover and use a variator holding tool to secure the front variator, then remove the retaining nut.

4. When installing the new variator assembly, ensure the splines align and the drive face faces outward.

6. Tighten the retaining nut to the specified torque (typically 40-50 N·m).
7. When installing the CVT belt, note the direction (follow arrow markings if present).
