WH 125cc Cylinder Gasket
🔧 Cylinder Gasket · Head Gasket · Engine Seal · Rebuild Gasket
For WH 125cc 4-Stroke GY6 Engines · Widely Used on Scooters and ATVs
This is the WH High-Quality Cylinder Gasket (also known as head gasket), specifically designed for 125cc 4-stroke GY6 engines. The cylinder gasket is installed between the engine cylinder block and cylinder head, making it one of the most critical sealing components in the engine.
This cylinder gasket is suitable for a wide variety of scooters, ATVs, and other vehicles equipped with Chinese-built 125cc 4-stroke GY6 engines. Whether for engine rebuild or repairing a blown head gasket, this product is the ideal replacement choice.
✨ Core Functions: Seal the combustion chamber · Prevent high-temperature, high-pressure gas leakage · Seal oil and coolant passages · Ensure proper engine operation
💨 Common Symptoms (Blown Head Gasket)
• Noticeable power loss, poor acceleration
• Coolant loss with no external leak, bubbles in radiator
• Oil emulsification (milky or coffee-colored appearance)
• White smoke from exhaust with sweet coolant smell
• Engine overheating, abnormal temperature rise
• Hard starting, low compression pressure
🔍 Failure Causes
• Prolonged engine overheating causing gasket aging and burning
• Uneven or insufficient cylinder head bolt torque during installation
• Warped cylinder head or cylinder block surface
• Gasket material aging and loss of elasticity
• Engine detonation or abnormal combustion冲击
⚠️ Important Note: A damaged cylinder gasket (blown head gasket) is a serious engine failure. If not addressed promptly, it may lead to cylinder scoring, engine seizure, or even complete engine failure. If you notice the symptoms above, inspect and replace the cylinder gasket immediately.

- Superior Sealing: Unique sealing structure design ensures reliable sealing of combustion chamber gases, oil, and coolant passages.
- Corrosion Resistance: Excellent resistance to oil and coolant corrosion for extended service life.
- OEM Specification: Manufactured to exact GY6 engine factory specifications for a perfect replacement of damaged original gaskets.
- Wide Application: Suitable for most Chinese-built 125cc 4-stroke GY6 engines, covering scooters, ATVs, and various other vehicle types.
🔧 Installation Guide
1. Ensure the engine is completely cooled before removing the cylinder head. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2. Remove cylinder head bolts in sequence, remove the cylinder head, and clean away old gasket residue.
3. Thoroughly clean both the cylinder block top surface and cylinder head bottom surface, ensuring no oil, old gasket residue, or scratches remain.
4. Check the flatness of the cylinder head and cylinder block; resurface or replace if warped.
5. Align the new cylinder gasket with the dowel pins and place it flat on the cylinder block (pay attention to orientation — markings like "TOP" or "UP" indicate the top side).
6. Install the cylinder head and tighten cylinder head bolts in a diagonal pattern in 2-3 stages to specified torque (typically 20-25 N·m).
7. Install related components, refill coolant and oil, start the engine and check for leaks.
8. After the engine reaches normal operating temperature, recheck cylinder head bolt torque.
Important Note: Always use a new gasket for installation — never reuse an old gasket. Bolt tightening sequence and torque are critical. Use a torque wrench and have installation performed by a professional technician.
Spec Confirmation: Before purchasing, verify your engine model and bore size to ensure compatibility.
Installation Caution: Cylinder gasket installation is a critical step in engine rebuilding. Always use a new gasket and tighten cylinder head bolts to the specified torque in the correct sequence. Improper installation may result in severe engine damage. Professional installation is strongly recommended.
Recommended Parts: When replacing the cylinder gasket, it is recommended to also replace related seals such as valve oil seals and the cylinder head gasket set to ensure rebuild quality. Product images are for reference only; actual product may vary.
