C100 Ignition Coil Assembly
⚡ Ignition Coil · HT Coil · CDI Ignition Component · Ignition System
For Moped, Cub & ATV · Fits 139FMB, 147FMD, 147FMF, 150FMG engines
This is the C100 Ignition Coil Assembly (also known as high-tension coil), a core component of the CDI ignition system. It is suitable for Mopeds, Cub series, and ATVs, and fits engines including 139FMB, 147FMD, 147FMF, 150FMG, and similar models.
The ignition coil assembly further boosts the high voltage from the CDI unit, generating tens of thousands of volts to create a high-voltage pulse that travels through the high-tension lead to the spark plug, igniting the air-fuel mixture. Manufactured with high-quality iron core and pure copper windings, it offers excellent insulation, stable output, and ample ignition energy. This assembly is the ideal replacement when the original ignition coil shows signs of aging, leakage, internal short circuit, or open circuit.
✨ Key Functions: Steps up low voltage to high voltage · Generates ignition pulse · Fires spark plug · Reliable insulation · Stable ignition energy

📌 Compatibility Note: This ignition coil is suitable for the engine models listed above with CDI ignition systems.
⚡ Voltage Step-Up
Boosts CDI output to tens of thousands of volts, creating a pulse strong enough to jump the spark plug gap.
🔥 Ignition Energy
Provides sufficient spark energy for complete combustion and optimal engine power.
🛡️ Electrical Isolation
Isolates high-voltage side from low-voltage side, protecting the CDI and vehicle electrical system.
🔌 Stable Output
High-quality ignition coil provides stable voltage output under all operating conditions.
⚠️ Ignition Coil Failure Symptoms: Hard starting, rough idle, poor acceleration, engine stalling while riding, weak or no spark, cracked coil housing or visible leakage. If these occur, inspect and replace the ignition coil.
- Hard Starting: Insufficient ignition energy, weak spark; engine difficult to start.
- Rough Idle: Unstable ignition energy causes idle fluctuation, hunting, or stalling.
- Poor Acceleration: Ignition cut-out during hard acceleration; vehicle surges; power delivery uneven.
- Engine Stalling: Coil open circuit or leakage when hot; engine stalls suddenly, may restart when cool.
- Weak/No Spark: Testing with spark plug shows weak, red spark or no spark at all.
- Cracked Housing/Leakage: Visible cracks on coil housing; visible sparking in damp conditions.
- Open Circuit: Multimeter shows abnormal primary/secondary resistance (infinite or shorted).
If you experience these symptoms, inspect the ignition coil, high-tension lead, spark plug cap, and spark plug, and replace if necessary.
- OEM Specifications: Manufactured to original electrical parameters and mounting dimensions for perfect fitment.
- High-Quality Iron Core: High-permeability silicon steel core for low magnetic loss and high energy efficiency.
- Pure Copper Windings: Primary and secondary windings use high-purity copper wire for excellent conductivity and low heat generation.
- Superior Insulation: Coils are vacuum-impregnated for excellent insulation, high-voltage resistance, and moisture resistance.
- Stable Output: Consistent voltage output with ample ignition energy for all operating conditions.
- Direct Replacement: Directly replaces aged or damaged original ignition coil without modification.
🔧 Installation Tip
1. Disconnect the battery negative terminal before replacing the ignition coil to prevent short circuits.
2. Verify the coil wiring matches the original (typically two low-voltage wires: positive and trigger/ground).
3. Ensure the coil is securely mounted to prevent vibration damage.
4. When connecting the high-tension lead, ensure it is fully inserted for good contact.
5. Check the spark plug cap resistance (should be approximately 5Ω); replace if abnormal.
6. After installation, start the engine and verify proper ignition function; check for leakage.
7. If starting issues persist, inspect the CDI unit, magneto trigger coil, and wiring.
Specification Confirmation: Please verify your vehicle uses a CDI ignition system (not contact-point ignition). If unsure, check the original CDI unit.
Installation Notes: Ensure correct wiring connections and secure high-tension lead fit. If problems persist after replacement, inspect the CDI unit, magneto trigger coil, and spark plug. Images are for reference only. The actual product may vary.
