CG Counter Shaft Assembly
🔧 Counter Shaft Assembly · Transmission Countershaft · CG125/CG150 Engine · Transmission Component
For CG125 · CG150 4-Stroke Engines · Standard Quality · Cost-Effective Replacement
This is the CG Counter Shaft Assembly (Transmission Countershaft), a high-quality, cost-effective replacement for the transmission system in CG125 and CG150 4-stroke engines. Specifically designed for CG series engines, this countershaft is suitable for motorcycles, ATVs, and various other vehicles, making it the ideal choice for transmission repairs or performance restoration.
The countershaft is a core component of the transmission, working together with the main shaft to transmit engine power to the drive wheel through gear engagement at different speeds. Manufactured from high-quality alloy steel with precision machining and heat treatment, this countershaft offers excellent strength, wear resistance, and fatigue resistance, ensuring smooth shifting and reliable operation.
✨ Core Functions: Transmit power from main shaft · Enable different gear ratios · Withstand gear meshing loads · Drive output sprocket

💨 Common Symptoms
• Hard shifting, sticking, or unable to engage gears
• Transmission noise (gear meshing sounds)
• Jumping out of gear while riding
• Abnormal power transmission, poor acceleration
• Transmission oil leaks
• Unusual noise or play at output sprocket
🔍 Possible Causes
• Gear wear or pitting from prolonged use
• Abnormal wear due to poor lubrication
• Gear impact from improper shifting
• Bent or broken countershaft
• Bearing wear causing shaft misalignment
• Worn gear splines
⚠️ Important Note: Counter shaft failure can cause transmission malfunction and, in severe cases, inability to shift or drive. If you experience the symptoms above, inspect and replace the countershaft and related components promptly.
This countershaft assembly fits vehicles equipped with CG125 and CG150 4-stroke engines, including but not limited to:
💡 Compatibility Note: This countershaft assembly is suitable for CG125 and CG150 engines. Before installation, verify your original transmission speed count (4 or 5 speeds) to ensure compatibility.

🔧 Installation Guide
1. Remove the engine from the frame.
2. Split the engine crankcase to access the transmission assembly.
3. Remove the shift mechanism, shift forks, and gear sets.
4. Remove the old countershaft and inspect bearings and gears for wear.
5. Clean the transmission case and inspect bearing bores for wear.
6. Install the new countershaft along with the associated gears and bearings.
7. Check gear mesh clearance and verify proper shift mechanism operation.
8. Assemble the engine crankcase and tighten case bolts to specified torque.
9. Reinstall the engine, add fresh engine oil, and start the engine to test shifting function.
Important Note: Transmission disassembly and assembly involve precision components. Pay attention to gear orientation and clearance during installation. Professional installation is strongly recommended.
Spec Confirmation: Before purchasing, verify your engine model and transmission speed count (4 or 5 speeds) to ensure compatibility.
Installation Note: Transmission disassembly and assembly involve critical engine components and require specialized tools and expertise. Professional installation is strongly recommended. Pay attention to gear orientation and clearance during installation.
Recommended Parts: When replacing the countershaft, it is recommended to inspect the main shaft, gears, bearings, and shift forks for wear, and replace them if necessary to ensure overall transmission performance. Product images are for reference only; actual product may vary.
