CG Crankcase LH · Left Crankcase
🔧 Left Crankcase · Engine Left Case · CG125/CG150 Engine · Engine Housing Component
For CG125 · CG150 4-Stroke Engines · Left Crankcase Housing
This is the CG Crankcase LH (Left Crankcase), a high-quality, cost-effective replacement for the left half of the crankcase in CG125 and CG150 4-stroke engines. Specifically designed for CG series engines, this crankcase is suitable for motorcycles, ATVs, and various other vehicles, making it the ideal choice for engine rebuilds or crankcase repairs.
The left crankcase is one of the main structural components of the engine. When assembled with the right crankcase, it forms the sealed crankcase and transmission chamber, housing the crankshaft, transmission, magneto, and other core components. Manufactured from high-quality aluminum alloy with precision machining and aging treatment, this crankcase offers excellent strength, rigidity, and dimensional accuracy, ensuring engine assembly precision and operational reliability.
✨ Core Functions: Support crankshaft and transmission · Form sealed engine cavity · Provide bearing mounting seats · Support magneto and starter mechanism
📌 Left Crankcase Features
The CG series left crankcase houses critical structures including crankshaft bearing seats, transmission bearing seats, magneto stator mounting points, and starter shaft mounting holes, serving as the foundation for all components on the left side of the engine.
📌 Assembly Precision
The left and right crankcase halves are precisely aligned using dowel pins. The assembled crankcase ensures coaxiality of the crankshaft and transmission shafts, directly affecting engine smoothness and service life.

💨 Common Symptoms
• Engine oil leaks (at mating surfaces or cracks)
• Unusual engine noise (worn bearing seats)
• Loose crankshaft or transmission bearings
• Excessive engine vibration
• Cracked or damaged crankcase
• Damaged mounting threads
🔍 Possible Causes
• Impact or drop causing case fracture
• Worn bearings causing enlarged bearing bores
• Over-tightened bolts causing thread damage
• Deformation from prolonged use
• Casting defects or stress concentration
⚠️ Important Note: Crankcase damage can prevent normal engine operation and, in severe cases, cause crankshaft seizure or transmission failure. If you notice cracks, bearing seat wear, or other issues, replace the crankcase promptly.
This left crankcase fits vehicles equipped with CG125 and CG150 4-stroke engines, including but not limited to:
💡 Compatibility Note: This left crankcase is suitable for CG125 and CG150 engines. During installation, it is recommended to also replace dowel pins, oil seals, and case gaskets to ensure proper sealing.

🔧 Installation Guide
1. Remove the engine from the frame.
2. Remove the right crankcase and extract all internal components (crankshaft, transmission, shift forks, etc.).
3. Clean the left crankcase and inspect bearing seats and threaded holes.
4. Install new bearings, oil seals, and dowel pins.
5. Install the crankshaft, transmission, and other components into the left crankcase.
6. Assemble the right crankcase, ensuring dowel pins align and the mating surfaces are flush.
7. Install case bolts and tighten in a diagonal pattern in stages to specified torque.
8. Verify smooth crankshaft rotation and proper transmission shifting.
9. Reinstall other components, add fresh engine oil, and start the engine to test operation.
Important Note: Crankcase installation involves critical engine components and requires specialized tools and expertise. Professional installation is strongly recommended. Always use new oil seals and gaskets.
Spec Confirmation: Before purchasing, verify your engine model to ensure compatibility. The left and right crankcases must be used together — inspect the condition of the right crankcase as well.
Installation Note: Crankcase installation involves critical engine components and requires specialized tools and expertise. Professional installation is strongly recommended. Always use new oil seals, gaskets, and tighten case bolts to specified torque.
Recommended Parts: When replacing the crankcase, it is recommended to also replace bearings, oil seals, dowel pins, and related components to ensure rebuild quality. Product images are for reference only; actual product may vary.
