🔧 Left Crankcase Cover · Magneto Cover · New Style Design · CG125/CG150 Engine
For CG125 · CG150 4-Stroke Engines · Left Crankcase Rear Cover
This is the CG Left Crankcase Rear Cover (New Style), a high-quality, cost-effective replacement for the left crankcase rear cover on CG125 and CG150 4-stroke engines. Specifically designed for CG series engines, this cover is suitable for motorcycles, ATVs, and various other vehicles, making it the ideal choice for engine repairs or cover replacement.
The left crankcase rear cover (also known as magneto cover) is installed on the left side of the engine, sealing the rear of the crankcase and protecting internal components such as the magneto stator and starter gears. Manufactured from high-quality aluminum alloy with precision machining, this new style design offers excellent sealing and heat dissipation properties, ensuring reliable operation of left-side engine components.
✨ Core Functions: Seal left crankcase rear · Protect magneto and starter mechanism · Provide sealing and heat dissipation · Prevent foreign material entry
📌 New Style Features
The new style left crankcase rear cover features optimized structural design with improved rib layout for better rigidity, enhanced sealing performance, and superior heat dissipation. Some new style covers incorporate an integrated seal groove design for more reliable sealing.
📌 Difference from Old Style
New style covers may differ from old style covers in appearance, mounting bolt locations, and seal type. Before installation, verify your original cover style to ensure compatibility. New style and old style covers are not interchangeable — verify carefully.
💡 Compatibility Note: This product is new style design for newer CG125 and CG150 engines. Before installation, verify your original cover style — new style and old style are not interchangeable.

💨 Common Symptoms
• Visible oil leakage around the cover
• Heavy oil stains on left side of engine
• Cracked or damaged cover
• Deformed cover causing poor sealing
• Loose or broken mounting bolts
• Damaged starter motor mounting area
🔍 Possible Causes
• Impact or drop causing cover fracture
• Aged or failed seal ring
• Excessive bolt torque causing cover deformation
• Cover aging from prolonged use
• Magneto or starter mechanism failure damaging the cover
⚠️ Important Note: Cover oil leakage not only wastes oil but may also lead to insufficient oil levels, causing poor engine lubrication. If you notice cover leakage or damage, inspect and replace promptly.

🔧 Installation Guide
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal for safety.
2. Remove the left crankcase rear cover mounting bolts (typically 6-8 bolts).
3. Carefully remove the old cover, being careful not to damage the sealing surface.
4. Clean the left crankcase mating surface, removing old sealant or old seal residue.
5. Inspect the new cover seal groove and install a new O-ring or gasket.
6. Apply a small amount of oil to the seal surface to aid installation and enhance sealing.
7. Align the new cover with the mounting position and hand-thread bolts to avoid cross-threading.
8. Tighten bolts in a diagonal pattern in stages to specified torque (typically 8-12 N·m).
9. Start the engine and check for oil leaks.
Important Note: Pay attention to bolt hole pattern differences between new and old style covers. Do not use excessive torque, as this may deform the cover or damage bolts. Use a new seal ring and have installation performed by a professional technician.
Spec Confirmation: Before purchasing, verify your engine model and cover style (new style) to ensure compatibility. New style and old style covers are not interchangeable — verify your original cover style and bolt hole pattern carefully.
Installation Note: Pay attention to bolt hole pattern differences between new and old style covers. Use a new seal ring and tighten bolts to specified torque. Professional installation is strongly recommended.
