🔧 Pre-Installation Preparation

• Ensure the engine is turned off and completely cooled down.
• Prepare a drain pan, socket wrench, torque wrench, clean rags, and sealant (if required).
• It is recommended to have fresh engine oil ready for refilling after installation.

🔄 Step 1: Remove the Old Oil Strainer

• Place the vehicle on level ground. Remove the drain plug and drain the old oil into the pan.
• Depending on the model, you may need to remove the oil pan or access the strainer from the oil pump inlet.
• Remove the bolts securing the strainer and carefully take out the old strainer.
• Thoroughly clean the mounting surface with a clean rag, removing old gasket residue and debris.
• ⚠️ Caution: The old strainer may contain residual oil — have a rag ready.

🧽 Step 2: Install the New Oil Strainer

• Remove the new oil strainer (0800-011009) from its packaging and check for any damage or deformation.
• Ensure the sealing ring is intact. Apply a small amount of clean engine oil to the sealing ring to enhance sealing.
• Align the new strainer with the mounting base, ensuring correct positioning.
• Install the mounting bolts and tighten to factory torque specifications using a torque wrench (refer to your vehicle's service manual).
• Do not overtighten, as this may damage the strainer or mounting threads.

✅ Step 3: Post-Installation Check

• If the oil pan was removed, reinstall it following factory specifications and torque the bolts properly.
• Tighten the drain plug and refill with the recommended amount of fresh engine oil.
• Start the engine and let it idle for 1-2 minutes. Inspect around the strainer mounting area and oil pan for any leaks.
• Turn off the engine, wait a moment, and check the oil level on the dipstick. Top up if necessary.
• Record the mileage and date of this service for future maintenance reference.
