CG 4 Pole Stator Assembly
⚡ 4 Pole Stator · Magneto Coil · Internal Rotor Ignition · CG125/CG150 Engine Parts
For CG125 · CG150 Internal Rotor Ignition Systems · 4-Stroke Engines
This is the CG 4 Pole Stator Assembly, a replacement stator for CG125 and CG150 internal rotor ignition systems. Specifically designed for CG series engines, this stator is suitable for motorcycles, ATVs, and various other vehicles, making it the ideal choice for engine electrical system repairs.
The stator (magneto coil) is a core component of the engine's charging and ignition system, working in conjunction with the magneto rotor. This stator features a 4-pole coil design specifically configured for internal rotor ignition systems, providing trigger signals for the ignition system, powering the vehicle's electrical components, and charging the battery.
✨ Core Functions: Provide trigger signal for ignition system · Power vehicle electrical components · Charge the battery · Ensure proper engine start and operation
📌 Internal Rotor Ignition
Internal rotor ignition is a common ignition system used in CG series engines. The magneto rotor is mounted inside the crankshaft, with the stator fixed to the crankcase. This design offers compact construction and high reliability, widely used in classic CG125 and CG150 engines.
📌 4-Pole Coil Configuration
The 4-pole stator typically includes charging coils and a trigger coil, providing stable trigger signals for the CDI ignition system while supplying power for lighting and charging systems.

💡 Compatibility Note: This stator is specifically designed for CG125 and CG150 internal rotor ignition systems. Before installation, verify your original ignition system type (internal/external rotor) and stator pole count.
💨 Common Symptoms
• Engine won't start or difficult to start
• No spark or weak spark
• Battery not charging, frequently discharges
• Dim headlights, unstable lighting
• Rough idle, poor acceleration
• Burnt coils, damaged insulation
🔍 Possible Causes
• Short or open circuit in coils
• Aged or damaged insulation
• Demagnetized magneto rotor
• Coil wear from improper installation
• Coil aging from prolonged high-temperature operation
🔍 Quick Test Method: Use a multimeter to measure resistance values of each stator coil. Normal charging coil resistance: approx. 0.5-1.5Ω, trigger coil: approx. 100-300Ω. If resistance values are abnormal (open circuit, short circuit, or outside normal range), the stator assembly needs replacement.
- 4-Pole Coil Design: Specifically designed for CG125 and CG150 internal rotor ignition systems, providing stable power output and ignition trigger signals.
- High-Quality Copper Windings: Coils wound with high-purity copper wire for excellent conductivity, low heat generation, and superior durability.
- Precision Silicon Steel Core: Core constructed from high-grade silicon steel laminations for optimal magnetic permeability and high energy conversion efficiency.
- High-Temperature Insulation: Coils undergo vacuum impregnation treatment for excellent insulation properties, heat resistance, moisture protection, and anti-aging characteristics.
- OEM Specification: Manufactured to exact CG series engine factory specifications for a perfect replacement of worn original stators.
- Plug-and-Play: Complete stator assembly with full harness and connectors — direct replacement with no wiring modifications required.
🔧 Installation Guide
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal for safety.
2. Remove the left side magneto cover (stator cover).
3. Use a flywheel puller tool to remove the magneto rotor (flywheel).
4. Remove stator mounting bolts and take out the old stator assembly.
5. Clean the stator mounting surface and inspect the wiring harness grommet for damage.
6. Install the new stator and tighten mounting bolts to specified torque.
7. Reinstall the magneto rotor, ensuring alignment with the keyway, and tighten the center nut to specified torque.
8. Connect the stator harness connectors and verify all connections are secure.
9. Reinstall the magneto cover, reconnect the battery, and start the engine to test ignition and charging systems.
Important Note: Route the wiring harness carefully to avoid contact with moving parts. Use proper technique when operating the flywheel puller to prevent damage to the flywheel or crankshaft. Professional installation is strongly recommended.
Spec Confirmation: Before purchasing, verify your engine model and ignition system type (internal rotor ignition) to ensure compatibility. This product is a 4-pole stator and is NOT compatible with external rotor ignition systems.
Failure Diagnosis: If experiencing no-start, no-spark, or charging issues, first test stator coil resistance values to confirm proper function.
Installation Caution: Stator installation involves internal engine components. Professional installation is strongly recommended. Secure wiring harness properly to prevent chafing or pinching. Product images are for reference only; actual product may vary.
