This is the CG Starter Motor Assembly (11 Teeth), a high-quality replacement for the motorcycle's original starter motor. Designed for Honda-style CG series engines, suitable for CG125, CG150, CG200, and other displacement models.
The starter motor is the core component of the electric starting system. When the start switch is activated, the motor rotates, engaging the starter gear with the engine flywheel ring gear to drive the crankshaft and start the engine. This starter motor features an 11-tooth starter gear, matching OEM specifications for perfect engagement with the flywheel ring gear.

💨 Common Symptoms
• No response when pressing start button (relay clicks but motor doesn't turn)
• Motor turns slowly, low cranking speed
• Motor spins but engine doesn't turn (starter clutch slipping)
• Unusual noise during starting (gear engagement issues)
• Motor overheats excessively
• Motor continues running after start
🔍 Possible Causes
• Worn or stuck carbon brushes
• Burned or shorted armature winding
• Failed overrunning clutch (one-way clutch)
• Worn or damaged starter gear
• Worn bearings causing rotor contact
• Demagnetized magnets causing low torque
⚠️ Important Note: Starter motor failure will prevent electric starting. If you experience the symptoms above, check battery voltage, starter relay, and starter motor. Replace the starter motor assembly if necessary.

🔧 Installation Guide
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal for safety.
2. Remove the starter motor positive cable and ground wire (if applicable), marking connections.
3. Remove the starter motor mounting bolts (typically 2 bolts) and remove the old starter motor.
4. Clean the engine mounting surface and inspect mounting holes and locating boss.
5. Apply a small amount of oil to the O-ring or gasket on the new starter motor (if present).
6. Position the new starter motor, ensuring the drive gear aligns correctly with the flywheel ring gear.
7. Install the mounting bolts and tighten to specified torque (do not over-tighten).
8. Connect the positive cable and ground wire, ensuring secure connections.
9. Reconnect the battery negative terminal and test starting function.
Tip: Ensure the starter motor's locating boss aligns with the engine's locating hole. Check battery voltage and starter relay condition before installation.
Spec Confirmation: Before purchasing, verify that your original starter motor has 11 teeth and the mounting dimensions match. Different engine displacements may use starter motors with different tooth counts — verify carefully.
Installation Note: Starter motor installation involves the electrical system. Professional installation is recommended. Ensure all connections are secure to prevent poor starting or electrical damage.
Related Checks: If starting issues persist after replacement, check battery charge, starter relay, and engine ground connection. Product images are for reference only; actual product may vary.
